What does this mean?

Dear Alain,

These are Chinese paintings on pitt paper or rice paper made in late 19th century. The details in the painting are good the subject of both is a little boring and that make a difference in price tag. Nevertheless if these came to auction I would expect the to make ( together ) a price around the estimate.
