Description

Bought the sword back in the 1980's // has a small sticker that just states India // not flashy // two solid pieces of steel // heavy weight like 20 pounds {give or take 5}.

Dimensions

54" overall & 42" blade & 11.25" cross guard // solid steel construction with no grip, just bare metal.

The presented object appears to be a modern-period two-handed sword or Zweihänder. This sword has details of the so-called Claymore Scottish sword. This piece was made in India in the second half of the 20th century.
