The size is 21 x 29 1/2 it is a watercolor
I am A new estate liquidation company that has several art pieces in the home and this is one of them that I cannot identify. So I could really use your help on identification and value
Dear Jack,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The presented object appears to be a lithograph in color print on paper with the measurements of 21 x 29 1/2 inches. The print depicts a city view of the city of Paris with the building Paris Opera as the main motif and pedestrians in the foreground. This print has an edition of 256/265 pieces and is signed by hand in pencil with an illegible signature. Just the first letter is readable as an H. This print was made in the last third of the 20th century. The artist is not identifiable with arguments of style or over the motif as a research strategy.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 40 to 80 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
