This is a vintage, later 20th century, about 1980's, original painting on canvas that was done in impasto (raised areas of paint) and palette knife. It is signed Esther at lower right and depicts a colorful blooming summer garden and white picket fencing. There are numerous works that have been offered at sales with the same quick style of painting signed Esther. It is most likely that "Esther" was not a single person, but instead a group of factory painters who produced decorative wall art paintings. These were not intended as works of fine art for investment purposes. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
