Water Resistance:Originally made for Shallow Water activities, Scuba, Swim etc. 5 ATM (164 feet ). Movement: Swiss, Mechanical, Stainless Steel body and strap. Beautiful detailing, Shock resistant. From what I have found online the following came up: "Search Assist ->> Oriosa watches were produced by two companies: Frey & Co. in Switzerland, established in 1912, and Ostersetzer & Cie. in Austria, registered in 1956. The brand faced challenges during the 1970s quartz crisis, leading to a decline in production."

Many thanks for the appraisal. It's great to know more about the maker, that's very interesting it's Austrian, linked to Ostersetzer & Cie in Vienna. I think we'll keep it as an heirloom, an iconic 1960's design, the craftmanship and detailing are great, I love the little diver on the back.
