This is a bequeathed item that is very difficult to photograph. Has a large “Jadeite” type stone and gold mounting. It has a Matt surface and has been handed down.
It is about 1.5 times the width of a quarter in length and 0.75 times the diameter of the coin.
All I know was that Mother kept it hidden and wore it twice in my lifetime. The pictures are a best effort as the hallmarks are shadowed by the ring back.
An 18ct Gold & Malachite Dress Ring, English
collet-set with a marquise-shaped stone, within a ropetwist surround, between open splayed shoulders, bearing 18ct hallmarks.
