What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a porcelain cup from Japan, basically hand painted Kutani ware very similar to products of the 1920s and 1930s but produced right after the war for the American company Ardalt Inc. which was established at Lexington Ave, New York, New York in 1945. The company imported all kinds of porcelain and stoneware both from Germany and Japan. Similar cups or even complete sets can still be found at auctions today. The estimate is based on similar sold or offered recently.
