Hi Brenda,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The domed and painted milk-glass shade is probably signed or marked *somewhere* and likely indicates that this was made by Bradley and Hubbard, a prominent American manufacturing company renowned for its high-quality metalwork and lighting fixtures during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Founded in 1852 by Nathaniel Bradley and Walter Hubbard in Meriden, Connecticut, the company initially started as a small operation with just six employees. Over time, it expanded significantly, employing around 1,500 workers and establishing sales offices in major cities like New York, Boston, Chicago, and Philadelphia .
Comparable parlor chandeliers are currently selling for the fair-market values of $150-250 at auction, though dealers will ask higher retail prices.
