Edoardo Daniele Villa (1915–2011; or 1920-2011 according to some sources) bronze plaque, signed lower left "E.VILLA" and dated 1958. The italian born sculptor worked most of his life in South Africa . His stylized abstractions are easily recognizable and there is a strong market for his works of art in South Africa. This small scale bronze of great art is a good example of the artist´s work in the 1950s.
