VINTAGE AMBER JEWELRY ESTATE PIECES
Hello I have recently inherited many pieces of amber. I have no idea what they are worth, what they are, and how to value them. I am looking to sell.

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be natural amber necklace of baroque olive shaped transparent cherry color beads , not necessarily from the baltic. I just assume the small beads are 18k gold. Similar can be found in southern america as well. The round brooch is just fashion jewelry, the necklace with squared beads consists of modern resin with amber.
Current high prices for baltic amber are only paid for yellow / orange opaque amber. The estimate is based on similar offered or sold at auction.
Which one did you do for appraisal
I appraised the necklace lying on the rock. We usually appraise only a single item. The teardrop natural amber with silver plated mount, approx. 40-60 USD. Other pieces are fashion jewelry of more or less decorative value.
