Hello:
I have been perusing websites for comparable lamps. I always accept your assessments, but in this case, I am finding lamps made in Turkey like the one pictured that I have attached and others that are valued or offered retail at four or five times greater than your estimate. Can you explain the difference?
Thank you for your speedy appraisal.
Best,
Rhonda
Thanks, Rhonda,
I am always happy to reconsider values - are you able to send me the link the website(s) you are looking at so I can see for myself?
Keep in mind that a pair can often be more than simply double the value of one, AND that retail prices - which is what those sites usually are - are often several times higher than the fair-market values (for auction purposes) that Mearto provides.
Thanks!
Delia
Hello Delia and thank you. I do not have a pair, just one. I did not realize the retail prices could be so inflated.

Hi Rhonda,
Thanks for sending that link.
As I expected, that website is for very high-end retail items; I'll amend the value of your single lamp to $400-600 but I really don't think a higher fair-market value is warranted.
Is this a pair?
