Vintage Beaded Purse
This purse is at least 60 years old. Am told it was my grandmothers so probably more in the range of 75 years or more. Fully beaded with what looks like peach colored silk lining. Beautifully vibrant colors.
Was told it was my grandmothers. I am 60 so it is at least that old. It’s lovely. I have never used it. Had it for about 25 years in my possession.

It is a beautiful antique purse. Such antique beaded purses are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
The design of the purse is absolutely lovely, the colours chosen for the beads and the decoration with the elaborate flower is very elegant and makes the purse stand out. The strap is also decorated with pearls, this is a very nice feature that adds to the overall lovely design of the purse. Due to the design I would date your purse be from the first half of the 20th century. The demand for items like this is not at the highest at the moment. Collectors tend to be more interested in accessories by the worldfamous brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton etc. However I believe that this lovely purse would attract the attention of both collectors and dealers if it came up for auction.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online accessories auction, where I believe the beaded purse has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to your grandmothers beaded purse. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
