Unknown maker was given to my mom by an older woman that said it was antique she called them pearls I believe it’s black onyx from my research and the bracelet is stamped 14k in excellent condition the older woman said she only wore it once and my mom has never wore it there’s no box. (Mind you my scale could slightly be off it’s been a long time since I used the small one)
The necklace is 36in and the bracelet 7in
A Onyx & 14k Gold Bead Necklace and Matching Bracelet, 20th Century
the uniform onyx beads interspaced with gold beads, on marquise-shaped clasp stamped 14k and matching bracelet. necklace 36"(gross weight 36 grams) and bracelet 7" (gross weight 11 grams) in length. (2)
Explain this to me first
Personally I wouldn't waste your money on different scales as most of the weight is not in the gold but the onyx beads
Okay thank you and as I was looking at the pictures I sent you of the 14k stamp I seen another mark and took a better picture is that a mark that means gold also? I uploaded it to you sorry just noticed it
Apologies I believe all the beads and clasp is indeed 14k gold
Can I buy a jewelry scale and reweigh them? I do believe they are heavier.
