Vintage Cartier Panthere Purse
It measures 10" wide x 6" Tall x 1 3/4" Deep. It is black with gold leaf embossing on it. It does not have a tag with material or country of mfg. It does have a Cartier Paris tag with the same gold leaf embossing inside. It has a Cartier zip pull inside on the inside pocket. It has Cartier Paris on the material for inside lining all black. It has the Panthere latch. the shoulder strap meaures 26" long and has three holes to adjust the length with what looks like a belt buckle on the sides. It looks and feels like real leather. I bought is second hand so I have no history for it.

It is a beautiful handbag. Such vintage designer accessories are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
It is a lovely bag, however I am a bit concerned that it does not have the Cartier name/logo on the back of the Panthere clasp. This is usually the case, but occasionally you see that there is no signature on the back of the clasp. There are a few other details that concern me as to whether it is a copy of a Cartier bag, however this is difficult to determine without examining the bag in real life.
I presume that there are no original receipt, dustbag or authenticity certificate with the bag as you say you bought it second hand. Sometimes the second hand dealers offers this kind of proof.
If the handbag is genuine the second hand sales value would be 300-450 US$. If it is a copy the sales value is below 75US$
