this has great detail on the front sides and handles, can't find a makers mark, it's extremely heavy and is large size for buffet serving table top events

Possibly Continental, first half 20th Century
The hinged domed lid with scrolling brass handle lifting to reveal a well with stop-plate and grate, the front fitted with a hinged door, all on applied brass paw feet with lion's heads.
