Tammy dolls are a beloved part of mid-20th century American toy history. They were introduced by the Ideal Toy Corporation in 1962, had the tagline “Tammy, the doll you love to dress like you!” and was marketed as a wholesome alternative to Barbie—she was meant to resemble a typical American teenage girl, not a fashion model.
Regrettably, Tammy dolls never gained the cult following of Barbie and ones that sell at auction - even ones with their original packaging and extensive wardrobes such as these have - usually sell at auction for about $10 each.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
