Similar to the other painting you inquired about, the work appears to be in a contemporary Japanese style, dating to the mid-20th century. Again, we were unable to translate the inscription seen on the painting. It appears to be the same inscription as the previous painting, possibly reading "to be." The object may be a companion piece to the other work.
