I recently purchased a pair of vintage Murano lamps. Unfortunately they are too large for my space and I must resell them. Excellent vintage condition. No visible chips or cracks. Glass is thick and beautifully textured. Metal base shows minimal patina consistent with age.
28 inch diameter , drops 17 inches from the ceiling .
Hi Christine,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
If these are unsigned ceiling lights, they'd most likely sell for between $250 and $350 each, at auction ($500-700 for the pair). If these are signed, the value would be double that, if not more.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A pair of vintage Murano mold-blown frosted glass ceiling lights
unattributed maker, circa 1980s
Each of circular section, with waterleaf detailing and scalloped rim. Assumed to be unsigned.
Each 17 inches high, 28 inches diameter
CONDITION: These are reported to be in good condition.
PROVENANCE: Unknown
$ 500-700 for the pair*
