Vintage Renfrew English Shop brown coat with fur collar
Vintage brown wool coat tagged as "imported expressly for Renfrew English Shop, Vancouver, b.c." also has a Canada union tag attached, this item is in almost perfect vintage condition. Ive done a little research on it and was wondering if it is the same brand as what is now Holt Renfrew. The coat measures 38" inches from the shoulder to the bottom.

I have not been able to verify that Renfrew English Shop is now Holt Renfrew however it is very likely. The materials of the coat are of high quality and the condition appears to be good despite the fact that it has been used and is a vintage coat. The coat is made of highquality wool and the fur collar appears to be mink.The best and highest prices obtained on the second hand clothes market today are by wellknown brands as Gucci, Chanel, Dior and Versace. However there are also buyers for high-quality vintage clothes of other brands but the prices are lower.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online vintage clothes auction, where I believe the Renfrew coat has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the lovely coat. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
