Your Divider screen is made in China second half to the end of the 20th century. Its not an old one but I believe you know that. I believe the room divider is at least partly hand painted. The black lacquer ground is done on a wooden base and on top of that the decoration is put on. The quality of the decoration is quite simple so its not a very sophisticated screen. Nevertheless there is some demand in the market for these sort of decorative objects to decorate the house and give it a asian look. I believe if this room divider came in auction it should fetch a price around the estimate.
