This old teddy bear that belonged to my father is over 100 years old. It is in disrepair. It has moveable arms and legs and is stuffed with sawdust. It has been lovingly stitched over the years and shows excessive wear from 3 generations playing with it. It belonged to my father who was born in 1914 and died at the age of 92. He was given this old Ted when he was a toddle passed it down to my son. It its 22"x11" I bought the lion in Germany in 1967 at a toy store. I removed the Steiff metal button from the ear. (I had no idea at the time that that was one way to identify a Steiff toy. My dog removed one glass eye of the lion. It has to be about 50 years old. It is not ripped, but the head is a little squashed. It is 13"x 6 1/2" from nose to tail and top of mane to feet. The little teddy bear is a limited edition Belamy bear purchased in 1980s in Bath, England. It is 6"long.
Big teddy bear was inherited from my father. Lion was purchased by me in Germany in 1967. Little teddy was purchased by me in Bath, England in the mid 1980s.
