Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a second half 20th century oil on canvas painting in the manner of dutch early 20th century paintings, depicting a dutch kitchen interior with a woman doing needlework and the young daugther watching a baby in the cradle, a fireplace in the background. The painting is signed O.W.Heijkoop. Unfortunately the fictitious artist biography and name do not match the name on the painting. Such paintings were produced by anonymous artist since the 1960s purely for home decor. An artist with that name and similar biography might exist, but he or she left no trace in auction records. A search in dutch museums yielded no results. The estimate is based on auction results of similar paintings by lesser known artists offered or sold at auction.
