This appears to be a watercolour by Henry John Sylvester STANNARD (1870-1951), depicting an ideal english landscape with an english Cottage ( in Hereford?) and a young girl in the foreground. The watercolour seems to be in good condition, not faded apparently. Similar watercolors by the artist have been sold at auction. The estimate is based on recent results and takes into account that the frame is in excellent condition. "Asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary.
