The item is wood with two rounded "wells" inside. On the side of the item is a crank (the handle is missing). The top is removable (with knobs for lifting) and is glass in a wide wooden frame.
Mother-in-law purchased this as curio in southeastern Ontario Canada. Probably at a garage sale.

The rounded-base table with glazed top with two handles and hole for churn, lifting to reveal a divided interior, on turned legs. The front stenciled with maker's name and location.
