William Adams & Sons, a pottery firm in Staffordshire, England, produced these pearlware items from around 1769 onwards. Bearing the impressed mark "ADAMS," this bowl exhibits the typical features of this style, including the blue-decorated rim and the smooth, glazed surface.
While bowl like this often retail for several hundred or a few thousand dollars, when sold at auction, they rarely bring more than $400-600 each.

Of circular section with cobalt glazed rim with acanthus and roping edge, impressed below "ADAMS."
