Dear Darlene,
Thank you for your request. This is a lacquer box with old Egyptian motifs. It depicts the portrait of the Egyptian queen Nefertiti after a sculpture which is nowadays exhibited in the Neue Museum in Berlin Germany. Also, there is a Lotus flower and a falcon which is a reminiscence to the falcon-headed god Horus. The box is signed with the name "Lackey" and a label inside names the company Wilton Lee Ltd. It is made in the USA in the last third of the 20th century.
An estimate would be from 30 to 60 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
