Wm Arden London Laminated Steel Double Barrel Rifle. The Barrel itself is just under 31 inches long, the shoulder piece to the barrel is 16.5 inches long. So all together it’s about 47.5 inches long.
This raffle was my fathers, who inherited it from his brother. We don’t know where he got it from.
Dear Jessica,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The presented object appears to be a double-barrel shotgun with a percussion lock or cap and ball system made by the manufacturer WMArden in London. This rifle was made in the middle of the 19th century.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 300 to 600 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
