Grandmothers 18th birthday present from her mother. Small delicate with lightweight band of connecting small love hearts. Rose colored unknown metal. All original, no repairs, curved thick solid glass/Crystal facing. No scratches
Inherited from grandmother as part of her jewelry collection. The small detail on the face, tiny engraved or molded Flower-like designs on each corner of front is delicate and beautiful. The wrist band of hearts is light in comparison to weight of the timepiece itself. Absolutely no damage or even scratches on any part of entire watch. There is an inscription on reverse of body of watch reads: To DOLLY From Mum 27'2'32 Still in original gift box

This is a vintage, 1930's, Art Deco period ladies 'cocktail' watch. The branded name 'Unicorn' is known to be a Rolex 'family' watch and were intended to be a more affordable off-brand from an actual Rolex watch at that time. Oftentimes a Unicorn watch is listed as a Rolex, however, technically it really is not a Rolex. Since this watch has no metal marks, it is safe to presume that it is rose gold toned metal and not actual gold. This comes in it's original celluloid box with deco inspired design. The watch itself is inscribed, which can impact sale value. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables.
