I have a diptych purchase over 30 years ago. Interested in their value (if any).

Thank you for your appraisal inquiry with MeArto. The items presented appears to be color woodblocks attributed to Toyohara Kunichika (豊原 国周, Japanese, 1835 - 1900). Although I do not see Kunichika signature on the prints, the style and subject matter is highly attributed to Kunichika. Each images seem to depict Kabuki actor and scenes. Further examination of the prints outside the frame may lead to authentication and additional details regarding publishing information, date, and hopefully Kunichika's signature. The two panel print seems to be missing the third scene of the triptych. Hopefully, the scene is folded behind, within the frame, as often times happen.
The estimate provided is applied to the collection and based on recent auction estimates and result of Kunichika woodblocks.
