Wooden entryway bench that has a spindle back and ornate wood carvings. The style looks Early American but don't know. The piece is very sturdy and in excellent condition. The front back area above the seat has the letters "L C P" carved into the wood. Don't know for sure but perhaps these are the initials of the person the bench was made for. Bench dimensions: 43”L x 22”D x 45”H. Seat height is 16.75”.

Yes, probably 1890-1910 or thereabouts. I could have been made as late as the 1930s, which ‘early 20th century includes as well.
When you say late 19th/early 20th century is this the time period when you estimate the piece was made? Thanks.
