Dear Shawn,
Thank you for your help and patience
The presented object appears to be a hand-carved sculpture made out a not identified wood with a height of 2 feet. The sculpture depicts most probably a harvest worker for sugar cane seen at the cutting tool. The sculpture is not signed or can be attributed through stylistic arguments to a known artist. Most probable this sculpture was made by a talented but no professional artist. Such an object has a difficult estimation situation because especially Indonesian wood sculptures are overrepresented on the market but perhaps a potential buyer likes the expression and it could rise in an auction.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 50 to 180 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
