These turkmen style rugs were originaly made by turkmen people and manufactured today mainly in Afghanistan but also in Iran and Pakistan. Textile floor coverings are long lasting and the supply is very good. Thus auction prices are rather low. The estimate is based on similar rugs being offered or sold at auction.
