Dear Michael,
Thank you for the additional detailed images. My sincere apologies for the delay with
The presented object appears to be watercolor on paper with the measurements of 31 x 40 inches. The drawing depicts a dolphin mother with her child. This artwork was made by the American artist Robert WYLAND (1956). This artist mainly chooses sea creatures like whales, dolphins, and similar for his art.
Works by this artist were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 1.000 to 2.000 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
I would also add that he has a method where he paints on a wet canvas. Tried to find a video but was unsuccessful.
