The signature and inscription on the back of the piece appears to read "Helen McCarthy" and the piece looks to be in good condition overall.

However, the signature on your painting is quite different and I do not believe that it is of the same skill level as the work that I've seen from Helen Kiner McCarthy, so I do not think that it can be attributed to this artist. I would therefore estimate the current fair market value of the work at $100 to 150, though retail and asking prices may vary.
