I believe this is a Yixing teapot I believe from the 60s through the 80s. It has leaves on it. It has a maker's mark and is signed.
Owner sold it to me.
Dear Chris,
This is an older Yixing teapot. If lit is fitting perfectly inside the pot rim it is in many cases a good sign. I know this type of pot very well . They are not rarae but made in republic period in China. I would say around 1940. Again markings are not so interesting but this pot is, because of his age and quality of higher value. Due to the damage value will drop a little of course but in general is this the best pot you showed in MEARTO until now.
Thank you. Everything is a learning experience.
