A porcelain Coca Cola Fountain dispenser from the late 1890's. In 1896, The Coca-Cola Company started a program offering premiums to dealers. Among the items offered as premiums were these porcelain dispensers. The urn was used as a way to promote Coca-Cola at the point of sale. This urn dispensed the syrup through a faucet placed beneath the bowl and is elaborately designed, reflecting late Victorian motifs. This urn is said to have been used at Lake Drug Store in Marshall, Texas.
