I’m not actually sure what this is. My parents have had this in their home and have always told us it was a 12th century monk dagger. It measures 10” in total length, the blade is just under 6” and is magnetic and appears to be steel. The hilt is just over 4” in length and is not magnetic and appears to be brass

The presented object appears to be dagger made out of steel or iron and brass. The handle has a prominent handguard and the ends are decorated at the end. This piece was made in the 19th or 20th century. This dagger is a historical replica after dagger which were hidden in the end of crosses.
This piece is in medium condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 30 to 60 USD.
