17 1/4“ height, 18” wide, 9” deep with metal 6” base. Measurements are approx but should be within an inch or less.

Hi Richard,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
This has silver (or silver-plated) overlay, and is probably marked though in all likelihood it's a very subtle and possibly hard to find but it would tell me who made it, if American, English or European, and narrow the date a bit.
If you can find a mark, can you take a photo and attach it here so I can look it up?

They will be small (less than 1/4-inch large) impressions, most likely on the bottom, sometimes around the rim of the bottom. Sometimes its a name, stamped, which would be larger but still fairly small (about 1/2-inch)
I have no idea where to look or what it would look like do you have any clues as to where it would be what I should look for?
