A pottery tankard about 12 inches tall 6 inches wide with a hinged metal lid. Possibly from Germany Markings E. M. O. (maybe OE) 1813
My step father is 99 and has had this piece since coming to the states in the 50s, he has many German Steins but this one is different. He escaped Nazi Germany in the 30's also lived in Bolivia and Australia.
