Many of these coins were heavily circulated or melted down, so uncirculated examples are quite scarce and command high premiums among collectors.

According to the APMEX (the American Precious Metals Exchange), the value of this coin ranges from $799 for the coin in Good-4 rate to $727,500 for one in MS (Mint State)-67.
