Don't know anything about this other than the insert tag stating (K18 CARTIER ITALY) It's 1 5/8" Wide x 1 3/8" Height, 3 Diamonds in a row at top, 4 runs on each side one solid smooth the other detailed in texture.Runs are hollow and a standard pin type closure to attach to dress or top. I don't even know if this is real or original, I bought it with several piece and this is a very nice piece so i am looking to see the resale value. If you need more information or better pictures let me know . I appreciate any advice you can give, Kindly Steven Diller
Nothing about it's past buy from an estate sale
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a beautiful gold brooch. Such vintage designer jewellery are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
Cartier is one of the highend jewellery brands that has never gone out of fashion. They still make extraordinary jewellery and are sought after by both dealers and collectors.
The pin/brooch is very elegant and smart in a retro way. I believe the brooch was made around the 1940-60s. The small diamonds adds a very nice touch to the design.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online jewellery auction, where I believe the Cartier pin has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the beautiful piece of jewellery. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
