Dear Ann,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the huge delay with the appraisal
The presented object appears to be a gouache with the measurements of 16 x 11 inches. The Siamese artwork depicts probably a court scene with two higher-ranked persons in gold. They could be interpreted as a king and his wife. The kind advises a scene of punishment. This piece was made in Siam or Burma more probable in the 19th century.
This piece is in medium to good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 100 to 200 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
George
