1990 Anne Barge custom designed wedding dress My wedding dress was designed iin 1990 at Ms. Clegg’s original shop in Atlanta, Anne Barge for brides, the year she opened. She was so easy to talk to. We discussed everything from fabric to hand beading. Her goal was to design and fit my dream dress. She did. No one in my family wants the dress. It is beautiful. When I started looking for ideas on what to price it for on Facebook market place. I discovered how big an empire she built from that little shop. I had no idea. I knew she was supposed to be a good wedding dress designer, but honestly, I never thought about it again until now. This dress is not from a particular design and then altered to fit, it was completely custom made in the fall of 1990 for a Spring ‘91 wedding. It is candlight raw silk with hand beading. It has a fitted bodice. It has a train which bustles. A crinlon was worn underneath, but it is not a full ball gown.

I was between a size 2-4 in dresses and weighed 118lbs. I was 5’2” and wore 2 inch heals.
