Original brand new in original box Black with red detail at base, possibly a rare combo Never worn,. Lot 302370 060
8 x 12 shoebox
Hi Jenny,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The Air Jordan IX was designed by Tinker Hatfield and released 1993; it was the first Jordan released after Michael Jordan retired the first time to pursue a baseball career. The code LN4 refers to the specific manufacturing facility where the shoes were produced. In this case, the Putian Li Feng factory located in Hanjiang Town, Fujian Province, China.
This particular color combination - in which the Jumpman logo is in red on a black ground rather than back on a red ground - is slightly less common and, by default, slightly more valuable than the $600-800 a more common new/unused pair would be worth.; in this case, $700-1,000.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage 1993 pair of Nike Air Jordan IX red/black leather hightop basketball sneakers.
The upper with a black synthetic nubuck material, while striking red accents blaze across the outsole, eyelets, and iconic Jumpman logo in red on black.
Size US10
CONDITION: Never worn, with the original factory packaging
PROVENANCE: Inherited
$700-1,000*
