This is a pair of vintage 20th century, about 1950's, matching arm chairs with high backs and off-centered legs that are made in the Hollywood Regency style and show influences of Danish Modern inspired design. Usually off-centered legs indicate these could be placed in a corner. These do appear to have been re-upholstered at some time with a neutral textile. The wood appears to be either teak or walnut. Without a maker name stamp, label or tag on these, the manufacturer cannot be definitively stated. Hollywood Regency style furniture and wares are popular on the design market currently. As a pair Hollywood Regency highback armchairs do get offered for high retail prices.
