You have a Swedish Carved and Painted (probably) Pine Rocking Horse, second quarter 20th century.
This is a charming rocking horse that would appeal to both folk art collectors as well as toy collectors, though recent sales of carved and painted rocking horses have been modest at best.

I'm a bit surprised that it is actually that old but am willing to take the benefit of the dealer's expertise. It doesn't affect the value much but in looking at recent auction prices (not retail prices), it's worth amending to $150-250.
Hi Madelia, A typo in the title it was 19th century. I purchased it around 1992 and was told by dealer it was over 100 years old the. The dealer specialized in rocking and carousel horses. That may effect the appraisal. Also are these appraisals based on retail or auction prices.
