For its age it is in good condition. It was given to my mother over 45yrs ago when we went to Pakistan to visit family. It came from an excavation site in the khyber pass. Historically it is priceless and as the afghani's that destroyed the buddha sites in that area its a rare and valuable item and is not doing anyone any good in my closet. It needs to be in a museum. Not exactly sure what its made of but for its size its heavy
