The painting is signed with red letters and this signature could be read as "Pho" or "Pha" and the last name "Linh". Sadly no further information regarding the biography of this artist is mentioned in reference books or similar databases.
The canvas is stamped by the producer and the localization Saigon is readable which correlates with the Asian facial feature on the painting and the Vietnamese name. This painting was probably made shortly before 1976 when the city Saigon was renamed.
