Dear Michael,
Thank you for the additional images and your patience.
The presented object appears to be a painting made in oil paint on canvas with the measurements of 28 x 14 inches. The painting depicts a woman with a red flower in the open hair and a black dress. The painting is signed with red letters and this signature could be read as "Pho" or "Pha" and the last name "Linh". Sadly no further information regarding the biography of this artist is mentioned in reference books or similar databases.
The canvas is stamped by the producer and the localization Saigon is readable which correlates with the Asian facial feature on the painting and the Vietnamese name. This painting was probably made shortly before 1976 when the city Saigon was renamed.
Works by this artist were recently not offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 50 to 100 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
I would like to know if you received these new photos and whether they're good enough, please?
