there are 4 chairs, all appear to be solid Mahogany and all have the same image of a child like face carved into the backing on them. One of the chairs does rock, the others remain idle. There is also a parlor style loveseat which also has the carved facial image in it as well. All furniture was acquired together from the same estate auction. Was all in the same old home together as a large set.
