4 x 6 foot silk Chinese rug
I have had for about 30 years. Got new from an auction. Was hung on wall for about 4 years never walked on. The rug is kind of 3 dimensional around all the flowers and some other areas where all the threads are not the same length. It’s kind of hard to see in the pictures but I tried to make it show.

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be chinese silk rug, manufactured for export to western countries approximately in the 1980s. Decorated with peonies on a grey field, surrounded by meander like border, followed by a light green border with flowers and again a grey border. Chinese rugs appear at auctions on a regular basis. The estimate is based on similar sold at auction. Prices in the trade would be approximately double the high estimate.
